His great achievements were Assistant editor of ‘The India Gazette’, editor of ‘The Calcutta Gazette,’ ‘The East Indian’ and ‘ThE Bengal Annual’ ‘ etc. His notable works were’ ‘To India, my Native Land’,’ The harp of India ‘,’ The Fakir of Jungheera’ etc. He took his last breath on 26th December 1831.
